CRAZYCOOK is HERE!

Hi, I'm Steve, and opened this blog some time ago, but have been remiss in visiting very often.  Well folks, like it or not, I'm here, and I believe here to stay!

I've had a cooking blog on another site for many years, but they are now failing to provide services my paid membership has promised... thus I'm washing my hands of them, and will concentrate on my BlogSpot.com, "Life, Lemons, and Things."  Here, you will find stories of escapades in my "crazykitchen," babble about just about anything, and efforts to improve dietary needs due to health issues biting me in the butt.

I tend to say what's on my mind at any given time thus not limiting myself to a specific topic, but I do my best not to be offensive to anyone, but there may be times some disagree... that's life and lemons, isn't it?

So, if you're up to it, follow my path through life, and I look forward to making many relationships with folk here!  Be well, and I'm sure I'll be back soon...

  1. I left that site years ago. It was too much drama and not enough cooking for me! Glad you're blogging again!

    1. Laurrie, I know that you left a/r and why, I recently got pissed off enough to demand a refund of my Jan auto renewal, which they've agreed to do... Good riddance, I say! I just hope I can figure out how to navigate this site, at which time I'm sure it will be FUN! Be well, friend!

    3. Laurie, I am also a past AR user. Steve told me about this site. I have started a blog, I would appreciate it, if you could check it out. I'm a real newbie and can use all the help I can get.

  4. Can we post pix on here? I have a casserole I invented and took pix of that I think you will enjoy messing with. I took size B yukon gold potatoes, peeled them and scooped out the center. Dipped them all in a dilution of lemon juice FROM YOUR TREE and then in melted butter, filled them with a seasoned cream cheese filling (I caramelized minced onions)and arranged them alternately with the dipped centers into a well-buttered casserole dish, and covered the whole top with creme fraiche that I mixed shredded Havarti and an excellent sharp British cheddar and dill weed. I topped it with buttered crumbs and baked it for an hour at 350, uncovered. Is this the sort of stuff you want on your blog?

    1. Laurie, not too comfortable here yet, don't know how I can download (or is it upload?) pix, but as I learn, I'll try to keep you informed! I'll accept any sorts of info you wish to share, for sure! Check in from time to time... hope to get back into the blog mindset as I enjoyed it so much at that other place! Be well, hi to hubby!
